Shane Beyer (Brick, N.J.) of the Manhattan College men's cross country team has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Runner of the Week. Beyer was Manhattan's top finisher at the Brother Jasper Season Opener on Friday, completing the 6000-meter course in 19:5.4, which was good for 27th place overall.
